Great Taste is Around the Corner, July 16, 2009, 5 to 9 pm
It’s time to make plans, mark your calendars and save the date for the 7th annual Taste of Bird Rock 2009 neighborhood celebration and fundraiser.

| As the weather turns warmer and the beaches become more crowded, crime in our community usually ticks up. As a reminder, please remember to lock all of you doors even during the daytime. If your home backs up to an alley, consider locking your gates with a combination or key lock. Remember to remove everything from your car so as to not invite them to break into your car. | Nearly 50 Bird Rockers attended the 2009 annual meeting of the Bird Rock Maintenance Assessment District. A lively discussion included district's activities over the past few years and what we have to look forward to in the upcoming year. Residents continue to be concerned about the growth of vegetation that makes it difficult to see pedestrians at the designated crossings.
